My wife and kids are having a soccer tournament turned girls weekend in Iowa. So instead of eating multiple bags of Funyons and watching TV. I figured why not eat multiple bags of Funyons, watch TV and do some artwork?!

Today during the NBA Playoffs I’ll be doing a piece of artwork for each game, during the game.

For this weeks project Gabby was the inspiration. The girls are always so interested in what I’m doing and wanting to help. I had a few random pieces of plywood laying around and I decided to let the kids help me with their silhouettes. These were done in the colors of the girls room and they were both very proud of their creations.

Numbers don’t lie. 8 national titles and 1,095 victories over 38 seasons.

Gone are the days of fist pounding and screaming. Tonight she was much more subdued and calm. I don’t know if tonight was Pat’s last game as coach but there is no doubt she is a legend.

While in Disney, I ran across these sweet little “Vinylmation” figures and being the hoarder that I am I needed to have a couple. I came across a blank one that worked perfect for Project 52. Since the only thing I had available to work with was a black sharpie, I decided to do a Husky pup. Below are the before and after shots.
